UCF Flexiride® manufactures and markets the Flexiride® rubber torsion axle, the most state of the art concept in axle technology for light duty trailers. The Flexiride® cartridge rubber torsion system is a completely bonded suspension, the only one of its kind in the market today. Widely used on horse trailers, boat trailers, motorcycle trailers and utility trailers, Flexiride® offers superior ride and damping performance over conventional leaf spring suspensions.
UCF supplies these components to Licensees in the United States and Canada. These certified axle manufacturers stock Flexiride® components and build axles to required track width, frame width and starting angle. The normal 22 degree starting angle maximizes the Flexiride® performance advantage, however, other starting angles are possible for special applications. This build-to-suit system eliminates the need for large inventories of different axle components and reduces lead times considerably.
The Flexiride® cartridges can be manufactured as half axles which are perfect for special applications where full beam axles cannot be used.
